My name is Maki Hirose ( /mah-kee hy-roaz/ ) and I am a UX/UI Designer with coding skills. I have over ten years of design experience.

I am a problem-solver and I design apps that are relevant in the market, functional for the User and reasonably executable by the Dev Team.

I studied at New York University and Columbia University. I am bilingual in English and Japanese.

I have experience with software including Sketch, Photoshop and DevOps. I have experience creating Design Systems, and I also have experience with web technologies including React, CSS and MongoDB.

I have lived in London UK, New York USA, and now work remotely from Kyoto Japan.
